Marathon day is Sunday May 12. Part of my training plan calls for Sundays to be long run days, building up every week until I max out at a 23km 4 Sundays prior to May 12, then in the final 4 weeks I'll cut my Sunday run distance's back considerably giving my body time to recover and prepare for the big day.
